When is the event happening?
Every week from 27 May to 27 June, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
At what time are the services?
Opening hours: Lunch at 12:00 / Dinner at 19:00
Visitors are required to present themselves 30min before their diner with their bubble.
Starting on June 9th there will be 3 services a day :
Lunch at 12:00 / Dinner at 18:00 & 21:00.
Who is curating the menu?
The dinner experience is curated by Syrco Bakker from 2 Michelin star restaurant Pure C.
Where can I book a table?
What's the price for a ticket?
The price for the whole experience is 175€ per person. This includes the food, the drinks and the whole journey.
You will have to pay 50€ per person when booking your table to avoid any no shows and you will have to pay the rest at the location.
How many tickets can I order?
We will have 16 rafts available per service. Each raft will host a dinner for 4 or 6 guests so each group will have its own wooden raft to share their experience in total intimacy. If you're looking for a custom or corporate event, please get in touch with us : info@tasteofparadise.be
What if I have some allergies or special dietary requirements (vegetarian, pescetarian, others,...)
You can indicate them all for each guest during the booking of your boat.
What about mosquitos?
Warm weather and water are favorite places for mosquitos. There will be some mosquito repellent on the boats but you can always brings yours too.
Is it going to be cold out there?
Yes, in the evening the temperature might drop quite a bit, not to mention we are on the water... Think about taking a warm pull-over/coat with you for when it gets chillier.
What does the price include?
The 175 euro per person includes a private boat for you and 3 or 5 friends, a cocktail, appetizers, 5 course menu with wine pairing, champagne, coffee & tea.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes, drinks are included such as a welcome cocktail, champagne, pairing wines with the dinner and more.
How do I get there?
It goes without saying that we recommend you to use your bike or public transport to get to the sessions, if you come by car type this adress in your gps : Park van Beervelde, Beerveldsebaan 40, 9080 Lochistri.
By public transport? Train station?
From Brussels-Central, you can take the train to Gent-Sint-Pieters and then the bus n°35 towards St-Martens-Leerne/De Pinte - Latem- Gent- Beervelde- Lokeren. Stop at "Beervelde Kerk" or "Beervelde Bennesteeg".
From Antwerp-Central, you can take the train to Gent-Dampoort and then the bus n°35 towards St-Martens-Leerne/De Pinte - Latem- Gent- Beervelde- Lokeren. Stop at "Beervelde Kerk" or "Beervelde Bennesteeg".
From Gent, you can take the bus n°35 towards St-Martens-Leerne/De Pinte - Latem- Gent- Beervelde- Lokeren. Stop at "Beervelde Kerk" or "Beervelde Bennesteeg".
Parking for bikes and cars
The bike and car parking are free.
Payments
On-site payments can only be made by credit card. Please download the app Payconiq by Bancontactin order to pay on site.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes you can if you do so 24h upfront.
Covid-19
Taste of Paradise puts the safety of its visitors, artists and team first. Strict measures will be imposed based on the Covid-19 govermental directives: - Each ticket purchased is valid in the name of its holder - No more than 6 people per boat. Be sure to meet up with your whole bubble before getting on your boat. - All staff and crew will wear masks. - Wash and disinfect your hands whenever possible. - Respect social distancing. Keep 1,5m distance from each other when queueing. - Please stay home if you feel sick or unwell. - You need to wear your mask, except if you are on the boat with your bubble.
